A close contender this was almost a deciding concept. The robot is more influenced by Samurai qualities than Shaolin. He even sports a flag from his back. However, i still wanted to stick closer to the Shaolin roots, as i feel it will be not only more interesting, but profound.
Here is the final robot concept. With influence from my thumbnails, and shaolin roots, the robot finds itself more into that. The plates of him and his asymmetrical design go hand in hand with his martial arts inspiration. He is round and simplistic to go along with the Shaolin style, after all, it's what it's all about. Because the robot retains certain identifiable traits, we can tell he is shaolin - the colour scheme, the plates in shape to clothing patterns and so forth.
